Having gained our experience in the restoration field we still work from time to time in repairs and consolidation work in vernacular buildings. Again we will be able to source the most likely local stone, for which lime mortar is the most suitable. We can advise on what texture should be used to match the old fabric. Whether we are designing a new gable end, copying an existing door frame, dismantling old chimney pieces, we will take care of the whole process, always trying to blend seamlessly the new with the old.
Easier to handle and price, we find new builds are the most exiting projects. We have gathered a lot of knowledge working on private houses in the UK and France.
